Introduced in winter 2023, the Parker Variant Open Comb is a razor that will serve you well for many years to come. The Variant's new open comb shaving head ensures a very close and comfortable shave. This model is ideal for daily shaving, as well as for stubble that has grown for several days.

Adjustability: The Variant OC razor has aggressiveness settings from 1 to 5, with 1 being the mildest and 5 being the most aggressive. The customizable settings accommodate differences in beard thickness, skin type, preferences, and experience level. It is recommended that you start with the mildest setting of 1 and work your way up from there. The adjustment is made using the adjustment knob at the end of the handle. The Variant OC razor is suitable for both beginners and experienced users.

The razor is heavy because its body is made of brass and electroplated with a satin chrome finish. When held in the hand, the razor exudes solidity, quality, and especially how heavy it is.

Variant OC is a 2-piece razor. The 2-piece design makes it easy to change the blades. First remove the cover by turning the adjustment screw counterclockwise and then you can place the razor blade on the base plate. Just make sure when placing the cover part that the mark on the cover is on the same side as the mark on the base plate. This will ensure that the part that adjusts the shaving head is calibrated correctly. Also, do not tighten the parts too tightly.
