The goal of the Italian Abbate Y La Mantia shaving soaps has not only been to develop a soap base and combine it with different scents. Their goal is to develop a soap base and fragrance combination for every customer's needs. More than 20 years of research and product development have made Abbate Y La Mantia's shaving soaps one of the most interesting projects in the classic shaving world. Saffron is normally known as an expensive spice in cooking, but Abbate Y La Mantia presents the functionality of saffron's active ingredients in cosmetics and skin care as well. Saffron is cultivated in the beautiful Italian Maremma hills, in the province of Grosseto.
HADAD Name story
Like all soaps in the Babylon series, this one is also inspired by the guardian of one of the gates of the ancient city.
Hadad is a Babylonian god who cleanses the world of evil with the power of rain and lightning.
That's why our shaving line was created to clean your face from the traces of the safety razor: the effect is gentle on the skin, but strong like thunder.
