Moon Soaps was founded by Melody Kent in Corralitos, California. We started with bath and body products, after which the catalog has also expanded to include shaving products. This family business creates and prepares the recipes themselves, and also designs the labels and packages the products. The idea has been to do everything ourselves from start to finish. Their products are unique and really work, which have received a lot of good reviews from users.

Trade Winds is a delightfully fresh summertime fragrance with a retro label that pays homage to the tiki bar culture of the 50s and 60s. That was the time when the charm of Hollywood mixed with the nostalgia of Polynesia, which gave the ordinary working man the opportunity to step out of the everyday into something more exotic.

Fragrant notes are Caribbean bay leaf, warm tobacco, cedar wood, a hint of bergamot and lime.

Trade Winds uses Moon's "Tropical Tallow" soap base, also found in their Havana shaving soap.

Moon's shaving soaps are completely handmade. They use only the highest quality raw materials, such as natural vegetable oils (coconut, palm and mango), locally produced animal fat, i.e. tallow, exotic butter, locally produced essential oils and fragrances. The soaps are made in small batches and packed in bowls (170 g)
