Osma's alum blocks are made in France, which they have been doing for 50 years. Crafted from 100% potassium alum.
The antiseptic properties of alum block are used after shaving to soothe and cool irritated skin. Alum is also used to stop bleeding and treat bruises. Alum block is 100% natural and does not contain perfumes or chemicals.
The alum block is used by first wetting the stone with cold water and then gently massaging it into the shaving area. Finally, dry your face with a towel. If your skin is sensitive and the alum block feels tingling or even burning, you can use alum water. Take a small amount of cold water and let the alum dissolve in it for a while. Apply alum water on the skin and dry.
After use, rinse the stone, dry it and store it in an airy place. Wet or damp alum will dissolve.
