RazoRock Lupo 95 OC
The RazoRock Lupo razor is inspired by a really hard-to-find razor that costs over $500 apiece. RazoRock got the safety razor in question from the customer and the challenge was to make RazoRock's version of it, but with a much smaller price tag. The challenge had been accepted.
RazoRock Lupo 95 is an improved, gen2 version of the original Lupo razor. First of all, Lupo 95 is made entirely of stainless steel and the most important changes have been made at the request of users. The most popular change requests were: 1. The ability of the razor to stay on the table also on its side so that the protective strip is still the size of the razor blade 2. Choices for aggressiveness 3. Many also wanted a hollowed protective strip to improve the appearance.
RazoRock Lupo is now available in three different versions. 0.72 mm and 0.95 mm blade spacing, and Lupo DC (dual-comb), where the shaving head has both 0.72/0.95 in open-comb and closed-comb versions. This open-comb OC (Open Comb) 95 version is the most aggressive of the trio and is suitable for the user who is looking for really effective cutting power.
The name of the RazoRock UFO handle comes from its flying saucer-shaped knob, which gives the safety razor a good feel in the hand. RazoRock UFO handle is made of 316L stainless steel and finished by polishing. The patterned surface ensures that the grip does not slip even with soapy hands. The handle is not hollow, but solid material. The thread is a standard M5 x .8, which fits most modern drive heads (Mühle, Merkur, RazoRock, iKon, Edwin Jagger). The handle is 85 mm long, 13 mm in diameter in the middle. The weight on the handle is about 65 grams.

Made in Canada.
Finish: Please note that these razors are tools, not jewelry. The razors are finished with a 3-phase vibration method, which does not affect the small tolerances of machining. This means that the razors are not polished to a mirror shine, and are not completely streak-free. The razor may therefore have small micro-scratches from machining and finishing. The parts can be polished to a jewel-like finish by the customer, but RazoRock's goal is to offer products with the best possible tolerances and prices.

At first I was puzzled by the aggressiveness of this razor, the large blade gap intended for coarse and thick beard hair. But I was surprised how discreet and efficient the drive is. Positive exposure of the blade is obviously more relevant in determining bite.
For the base, Ach Brito shaving soap, then shaving foam from a heated bowl. Blade Personna Blue, Astra, Rapira etc.
The result is 'baby's butt' smooth skin already with a lump. If your skin is sensitive, you could try a RR SLOC razor that allows more strokes in the same position.
