RazoRock Lupo DC Super Knurl

The RazoRock Lupo shaving brush is inspired by a really hard-to-find shaving brush, which costs over $500 a piece. RazoRock was given the challenge by a customer to make a version of the RazoRock, but with a much lower price tag. The challenge was taken up.

The RazoRock Lupo DC is an improved, gen2 version of the original Lupo beardtube. The Lupo DC is first of all made entirely of stainless steel and the main changes have been made at the request of the users. The most popular change requests were: 1. The ability for the razor blade to stay on the table even when on its side so that the guard is still the length of the razor blade 2. The choice of aggressiveness 3. Many people also wanted a concave guard to improve the appearance of the razor blade.

Three different versions of the RazoRock Lupo are now available. 0.72 mm and 0.95 mm blade spacing, and the Lupo DC (dual-comb), which has both 0.72/0.95 open-comb and closed-comb versions. The open-comb is medium aggressive and the closed-comb side is even more aggressive.

The RazoRock Super Knurl shank is made of 316L stainless steel and finished with a polished finish. The handle is not hollow, but is made of a solid material. The thread of the handle is standard M5 x .8, which fits most modern shaving heads (Mühle, Merkur, RazoRock, iKon, Edwin Jagger). The handle is 91 mm long and 13 mm in diameter in the centre, and weighs 72 grams.

Finish: Please note that these razors are tools, not jewellery. The beard trimmings are finished with a 3-stage vibration process that does not affect the fine tolerances of the machining. This means that the razors are not polished to a mirror finish and are not completely untraceable. This means that there may be small micro-fissures in the beard shavings after machining and finishing. The parts can be finally polished to a jewel-clear finish by the customer, but RazoRock's aim is to offer products with the best possible tolerances and prices.
