Founded in 1955, the Portuguese Semogue is a family business that continues to handcraft razors. They offer a wide range of different types of boar and badger hair razors. Their boar razors in particular are very popular with wet shavers thanks to their excellent performance and low price.
The Semogue 1305 handle is made of beech and painted in forest green / ivory white, and finished with a coat of lacquer. The shaped handle allows the razor to hold well and feel natural in the hand. The bristles are dyed wild boar. Like the woolen razor, it requires a break-in period, during which the bristles begin to branch and soften.
