Tatara is founded in Porto, Portugal by 3 mechanical engineers and a friend. The company was founded in 2016, where the mission began to sustainably create exceptionally long-lasting products and offer a pleasant and comfortable shaving experience.

The name TATARA (鑪) is inspired by the furnace where master smiths melted the steel of samurai swords in ancient Japan. Like Japanese katanas, Tatara products are made with the utmost dedication and attention to detail. Combining this with the obsessive precision of modern design.

Muramasa is a very efficient and comfortable adjustable razor that allows you to choose the desired shaving setting (gentle or aggressive) simply by turning the razor handle.

Thanks to the fine-adjustment mechanism and excellent manufacturing quality, it offers a shave that adapts to your own needs. Perfect for both beginners and experienced beard wet shavers.

Packaging
The Muramasa razor is packed in a natural cork box. The cork is cork oak bark and this means it is 100% natural plant tissue.
In addition, cork is the only wood that can be obtained without cutting down the tree. In other words, durable material.
