Tatara is based in Porto, Portugal, founded by 3 mechanical engineers and friends. The company was founded in 2016, where the mission began to create sustainable products with exceptional longevity and provide a comfortable and enjoyable shaving experience.

The name TATARA (鑪) is inspired by the furnace where forge masters melted the steel of samurai swords in ancient Japan. Like Japanese katanas, Tatara products are made with the utmost dedication and attention to detail. Combining this with obsessive precision of modern design.

Nodachi is particularly suitable for those with a more irregular and coarse beard.
