The Scottish, pioneer Alexander Simpson in the field, began production of Simpson beard and supplies in 1919. Pre-shave took place in eastern London but later moved to Clapham, London. During the Second World War, the factory was destroyed in 1941, after which production was transferred to Somerset's Nimmer Mill. Today, Simpson's beard and related products are manufactured by Progress Shaving Brush (VULFIX) Limited in the historic mansion. They continue to make in the traditional ways by handing the shaving knots by hand, by professionals.

Alexander Simpson est. 1919 is Simpson's new soft product line that represents quality and traditions like Simpson. The balsams used after the series shaved have gone through several months of product development. Even after the first use, you will notice why the wait has been worth waiting. The main scent of Balsam is a sandalwood supported by the floral knee, the patches, and the musk and tonka bean.

After shaving, rub a small amount of balm between your hands and rub on your face. Soothes, moisturizes and refreshes the skin.
