Truefitt & Hill Apsley
Designed for the dynamic traveling gentleman, this shaving cream is conveniently packaged in a 75g tube. Perfect for a weekend trip or meeting abroad. The shaving cream is equipped with a luxurious Apsley fragrance.
An important location in London, a short trip west of St James, inspired the creation of Apsley in 2016. Arthur Wellesley was the 1st Duke of Wellington, victor at the Battle of Waterloo and former Prime Minister. Apsley was created in his honour, taking its name from his neoclassical residence Apsley House in Hyde Park Corner. Rumor has it that if someone sent a letter to its historic address of “Apsley House, 1 London” it would still arrive. In the 18th and 19th centuries, this house was the 'first' home after the Knightsbridge tollgates when coming from the countryside, making it the starting home in the capital, hence the address.
In a truly distinctive and fascinating fragrance, the harmonious tones of woody vetiver are accentuated by the refreshing essence of grapefruit and accentuated by the scents of pepper. The cedarwood and patchouli base is enriched with notes of musk and smoldering wood that blend softly into the elegant and warm tones that characterize this unique fragrance.
Fragrance profile:
Top notes:Grapefruit, Pepper and Lemon
Heart note:Lavender, Vetiver and Jasmine
Base note:Patchouli, Cedar and Musk
